TRAINING PROGRAMMES

There are myriad different training programmes floating round. Some are excellent, others good but very risky, but the majority are plain codswallop. Despite outrageous claims by their inventors (six-pack in a month, etc), most are never even tried out before being typed out and published in print or online next to photos of barely clothed models performing the suggested exercises whilst smiling.

Our breadth of experience here means we tailor a programme to YOU. It will be based on sound fitness principles. Tried and tested, and constantly reviewed. Our experience is that no training plan survives contact with reality in its original form. Niggles, work and illness all conspire to mean we need to adapt. Which is where our expertise is so valuable. At PT Troop, The Personal Trainers think of ways around issues and problems, ensuring your precious time is spent intelligently, both with us and in your own sessions.

Our clients use us in many different ways. Some people come 5 times a week, some once a month. But whatever you do decide is best for you, we will always ensure you are using your time effectively between sessions. People leave our sessions knowing exactly what is required of them before we next see them. We keep in touch too – some clients are unlucky enough to be members here at Clifton College’s public gym, and are subjected to a watchful eye during their own training sessions. Those who are not we keep in touch with via telephone, text and e mail.

Training is individual – no two people need the same training programme. Here we don’t rattle something half baked off the internet – we think hard and each Personal Trainer uses the collective experience available here.
