This trip really is a major undertaking.  In comparison, the Devizes to Westminster Canoe Race that can be seen earlier on the news page looks easy.

Sara is going to kayak, on her own, from Plymouth, down the Cornish coast, to Penzance.  In itself, this is a serious undertaking.  Then she will leave the relative shelter of coastal waters, and cross 28 miles of the Atlantic ocean to reach the Scilly Isles.
